About Us

Welcome to the Ale Emporium, proudly serving Honest Pizza and the World Famous Hermanaki® Wings since 1982. As a beloved family-owned sports pub and restaurant, our focus is on delivering fresh ingredients and showcasing local craft beers.

Founded by Marc Luros and partners, the Ale Emporium has cemented its place as an Indianapolis landmark. With Herman Perryman joining in the late '80s and family members Shannon and Scott Baun in the '90s, the Ale has continuously thrived, becoming a key supporter of local initiatives. We're thrilled to be the community hub where friends and families come together to enjoy delicious food, cheer on their favorite teams, and revel in live music.

It’s the perfect balance of smoky, crispy, cheesy, and rich. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the crust was absolute perfection. And don’t even get me started on the Hermaki wings… hands down the best wings I’ve ever had. That signature sauce is something special — a perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy that keeps you coming back for more. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and fast, and the food? Out of this world. This place knows how to do it right. 🔥 Highly recommend for any wing or pizza lover. Ale Emporium is a local legend for a reason.

Let me tell you.. some of the best food I’ve had in a while. We walked in about 2 PM on a Saturday, not super crowded. We were greeted by our friendly waiter, and he took or order with no papers, no nothing. We thought he would probably mess something up, but no. It was spot on accurate, even while he was juggling multiple orders. Great service, some of the best salad I’ve ever had, and overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend if in the Greenwood area.
